Since its beginnings in 1982, Milton Ruben Superstore, formerly known as Milton Ruben Auto Mall, has become a highly recognized and regarded Georgia car dealership, selling new and used cars from its Augusta, GA location to buyers from the greater Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) which includes Martinez, Evans, Appling, Edgefield, Columbia, Aiken, North Augusta, Belvedere, Waynesboro, Thomson, Harlem, Macon, Atlanta, Greenville and Milledgeville, GA and SC. Milton Ruben has also become an active online car dealer, and can serve customers within a 300-mile radius of Augusta.
The founder, Milton Ruben, was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. He attended Tulane University and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting. He then went on to achieve a Masters degree from the University of Georgia.
Diverting from his plans of becoming a CPA, in 1979 Milton Ruben decided to go to work for Harrison Gulley Chevrolet of Augusta. In January of 1982, he bought Harrison Gully Chevrolet and turned it into Milton Ruben Chevrolet. This new car dealership opened on May 13, 1982 and was located at Walton Way and 12th Street in downtown Augusta.
In 1986, Milton Ruben Chevrolet had outgrown their showroom and broke ground at 3514 Washington Road in Augusta, Georgia (an area also known as Martinez, GA). Mr. Ruben added several new brands in 1992, including Porsche, Audi, and Chrysler. Along the way, this Augusta car dealership also added Plymouth, Jeep, Dodge and Ram.
With its eye on the Toyota and Scion brands for years, Milton Ruben Superstore bought Toyota of Augusta in 2009 and transformed it into Milton Ruben Toyota of Augusta.
As of 2011, four car dealerships operate under the umbrella of Milton Ruben Superstore, including Milton Ruben Toyota Scion of Augusta, Milton Ruben Chevrolet of Augusta, Milton Ruben Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Augusta, and Milton Ruben Preowned of Augusta.
This successful local business currently has an inventory of over 1,600 new vehicles, including brands by Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Toyota, and Scion. We employ over 200 people in our area, and continue to be actively engaged within our community.
